New Space for Thing-a-day 6th edition!

Dear Thing-a-day makers and participants.

Following a few recent exchanges, we're moving thing-a-day onto a new space for this 2012 edition.

We decided to try to go back to Wordpress. Hopefully you'll find it will be the right place to keep exchanging and sharing your work. This means that the site might be down over the week-end as all of this happens.

Stay tuned and come back on Monday to get prepared for this 6th edition!

My comments keep getting eaten ... AAAAARRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!

I have two concerns about the upcoming TaD:

(1) the domain name is set to expire 12-Feb-2012. This may result in a disruption of service (the same happened to Disney's Club Penguin in June 2011).

(2) Can the server support the traffic? One way to alleviate some of the pressure would be to use a service like CloudFlare (I use it and it has reduced my bandwidth to less than 30%).

I originally posted to this thread two days ago and before my current comment, I had posted one earlier. In essence, the comments were all the same. Hopefully, this will be my second one to this thread.
